date gone wrong

This pub has an excellent plan for saving its customers from bad Tinder dates

This sign in the women’s bathroom is going viral worldwide.

WITH TINDER DATES, it’s always going to be a bit of a risk. But it’s nice to know that someone will be there for you if it all goes wrong.

The Brickyard pub in St Albans is going viral after this sign was put up in the women’s bathroom:

Tinder date gone wrong? Doesn’t look like his picture, or just plain weird?
If you’re on a date and it’s not going well, come to the bar and ask for Rachelle or Jennifer and we’ll get you out of it and/or get you a taxi.

“If anyone is bothering you or making you feel uncomfortable please tell us. We will discreetly move them away, and if necessary ask them to leave,” the sign continues.

Owner James Hanning told Buzzfeed that the idea for the sign came about after two separate women approached bar staff asking if their Tinder dates looked like their photos.

They were light-hearted conversations, but we realised there was a potential for discomfort and thought that a discreet sign would help give dates the confidence to ask for assistance if things weren’t going well.

In response to the success of the first sign, they’ve also put one up in the men’s room:
