What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Daniel and Majella’s B&B Road Trip (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)

It’s a new series of Daniel and Majella! This time they’re heading down to Kerry to visit the Tom Watson Suite at the 19th Lodge where they’re going to play some golf. Then they’re heading to Rossbeigh Beach House where Daniel and Majella will be put through their paces with a workout. What more could you want of a Tuesday evening?

The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds (Channel 4, 8.00pm)

The second of two parts where the kids are looking at the difference between right and wrong. In this episode the kids are given power and new girl Sienna has a slightly different idea of what that means than the other kids. Meanwhile Luke and Ella get put in charge of 3 puppies. A very wholesome show indeed.

Meet the Markles (Channel 4, 10pm)

What’s weirder than your nephew creating a strain of cannabis for your wedding? Meeting said nephew and trying to get an invite to the Royal Wedding. Amelia Dimoldenberg does just this as she attempts to get in with the Markles and tries to get an invite. Cause that’s totally normal behaviour.

Everyone’s talking about: An LGBTQ+ version of Love Island

The new season of Love Island will have LBGTQ+ contestants for the first time but after their BAFTA win on Sunday, the bosses said they are looking at the possibility of an LGBTQ+ version of the show.

ITV ITV

Speaking to Digital Spy, producer Richard Cowles said “We’d have a dedicated show [for LGBTQ+ contestants]… absolutely we’d consider two series a year.” What’s that? More Love Island you say? BRING IT ON.

Or flick over for…

  • Innocent (TV3, 9.oopm): The series continues with DI Hudson discovering serious flaws in Tara’s original murder investigation.
  • The Windsor’s Royal Wedding Special (Channel 4, 9.00pm): The Royal Wedding is this weekend so let the Windsors make the whole thing a lot easier with their comedy special.
  • The Split (BBC One, 9.00pm) The series continues as the Foreign Secretary’s husband gets caught in a dodgy online dating website. Saucy.
