Adriana Lima has said she will no longer take her clothes off for an 'empty cause'... it's the Dredge

All the celeb dirt.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Supermodel Adriana Lima has said that she will no longer take off her clothes for a photoshoot for an “empty cause”.

Posting on Instagram, the Brazilian wrote about how she realised that her own work was playing into society’s problem with body image and putting pressure on women to look a certain way:

In her caption, she said she has decided to make a change following a recent offer to star in a “sexy video” for social media:

I had received a call for the possibility of filming a sexy video of me to be posted and shared in social media. Even though I have done many of this type, something had changed in me, when a friend approached me to share that she was unhappy with her body, then it made me think…. that everyday in my life, I wake up thinking, how do I look? Was I going to be accepted in my job? And in that moment I realized that majority of woman probably wake up every morning trying to fit in a stereotype that society/socialmedia/fashion etc imposed…. i thought that’s not a way of living and beyond that…. that’s not physically and mentally healthy, so I decided to make that change….. I will not take of my clothes anymore for a empty cause…. #Embraceyouself #natureisbeautiful #naturalissexy #LOVEYOU

She also shared the same thoughts to Facebook over the weekend, which has led to speculation about whether she will be continuing her work as a Victoria’s Secret angel in the future.

Georgia Toffolo won the finale of I’m A Celeb last night, beating Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas and Iain Lee to the crown.

The Made in Chelsea star raked in nine million votes, and said that she really didn’t expect to come out on top:

I didn’t think anyone would like me. Sorry, I’m really taken aback. It’s really overwhelming. Thank you so much. I’m really shocked. Is this real? I loved it in there so much, nothing can prepare you for that. My cheeks hurt from smiling.

As The Mirror reports today, Toffolo is attracting major interest from all the big TV channels in the UK:

Toff now wants to follow in the TV footsteps of last year’s Queen of the Jungle, Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, 27.
She has already been offered her own Channel 4 political debate show. But ITV bosses — keen to poach her after turning her into a household name — have sparked a bidding war. The law graduate is also being targeted as a panellist on BBC1’s Question Time.

Now’s the time to strike.

Prince Harry has revealed that he’s quit smoking since Meghan Markle has moved into Nottingham Cottage.

Harry reportedly enjoyed a few smokes “during house parties on the grounds”, but not any more.

A source told The Mail On Sunday that it happened just days after the engagement:

Harry has promised no smoking at all at home. It’s not nice for Meghan as a non-smoker. So there’s no more hanging out of the window for a quick puff. Harry has quit for Meghan.

Imagine the gaff parties being thrown by Harry though.
