win or lose

Ed Sheeran, Aisling Bea, and Ariana Grande... it's our celeb winners and losers of the week

Some will win, some will lose.

DailyEdge praises those who rocked the week in celebland, while keeping a watchful eye on those who should just log off forever.

Cardi B

Cardi got herself into a bit of a tiff this week when she took part in a Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement skit. Yeah, we could tell that would go down like a led balloon from the title alone.

Basically, Martin Luther King’s son MLK III said it was ‘beyond offensive’, and his daughter Bernice labelled it ‘repulsive’. Not exactly the feedback you want.

Rodrigo Alves

THIS guy. After a brief stint on Celebrity Big Brother, the human Ken Doll has been kicked out for inappropriate behavior. BB refused to let us know what the behaviour was, but he shoulda been kicked out the first time he used the n-word.

Let him fade into obscurity now, please.

Ed Sheeran

It looks like Ed Sheeran may have gotten married this week. Rumours were rife when he was spotted wearing a wedding ring. Well, more than spotted. When asked during an interview with Access Online when the wedding was, Ed simply held up his hand to reveal a wedding ring.

Obviously, this doesn’t confirm anything, but wouldn’t that be just SO Ed. Give us a bit of scandal, mate.

Aisling Bea

Aisling Bea is having a great old week all together. Actually, she’s having a pretty brilliant year. The Irish comedian announced she has been cast to star alongside Paul Rudd in a new Netflix series. Living With Yourself tells the story of Rudd, a man who undergoes treatment to become a better person, only to find that he’s been replaced by it.

Aisling also has a Netflix comedy special due out soon, it’s all happening!

Ariana Grande

Ariana is quickly becoming a regular feature on our winners list. Yes, even after the whole Pete Davidson thing. This week, Ariana literally stopped a song and started again because a fan requested she do so. The video is so, so endearing.
