This response to Aldi Switzerland advertising Guinness with a Union Jack is perfect

It’s all we’ve got.

OH ALDI. We love you. Why you gotta do us like this?

Aldi Suisse put up this promo material on Facebook to market their Guinness offer.

See anything wrong with it? Allow Irish emigrant Eoin Jones to point it out, as he did on their Facebook page.

Guinness is from Ireland, not from the Ivory Coast or the UK!

Aldi got back with a swift apology.

Not letting them off the hook that easily, Eoin offered ways for the supermarket chain to make it up to use, before administrating a third degree buuuurn.

One suggestion, you can make up for this mistake by selling Emmental in Ireland with this ad.

Kudos Eoin, you’ve got our backs.
