PRIMAL SCREAM could be dancing on a bar in Portlaoise, or Fatboy Slim might be whipping up a frenzy in Fanore.

This Arthur’s Day – on Thursday –  nine headline acts are going to be heading to locals around the country to play secret gigs. Mumford and Sons, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Ellie Goulding and Tinie Tempah will also be rocking out in snugs around

There’s still time to visit the website and vote for one of the artists to come to your town. Imagine bumping into Sharleen Spiteri from Texas in the jacks in Cavan? Bliss.

It seems that at least some of the main headline acts will be appearing in Dublin venues, before being whisked off to a local somewhere around the country.

Hundreds of pubs around the capital and the country are taking part, with acts like This Club, The Original Rudeboys and The Minutes also set to play live sets.

Eight TV specials will also be recorded in pubs in Cork, Dublin and Belfast.

Meanwhile, what the blazes is this all about?
