A talking parrot has been found 'hiding' in a Dublin football stadium

Maybe he’s just a Bohs fan?

ANYONE IN PHIBSBOROUGH missing a talking parrot?

This little bird (and possible Bohemians fan) was found this morning in Dalymount Park:

The parrot was discovered sitting on a ledge in the stadium car park early this morning, and staff have since launched a social media campaign to find its owners.

Dalymount Park’s Lynn O’Neill says the parrot is a talented little fellow:

I went down with my camera… There were four or five of us and we were afraid [the bird] would fly away. I said to the boys to back away so I could take a picture, and the parrot said “BYE BYE!”

O’Neill said that they spent the morning “babysitting” the parrot, concerned about the hordes of stray cats that usually roam around the stadium.

News travelled fast around the local area and soon a foster family was found for the bird, whom Dalymount Park staff have affectionately named Mr Green.

“He’s been fed and watered and is having a rest,” said O’Neill.

It could be a very expensive bird; it might have flown out a window. I put it on Facebook thinking somebody might know someone who had a parrot.

If you think you recognise Mr Green, you can get it touch with this number here.
