TV3 HAVE COMMISSIONED A series of At Home with the Healy Raes after more than a half a million people tuned in to watch a documentary on the political family last night.
The network are in discussions with the Healy Raes already about expanding the documentary, which followed Jackie, Michael and the rest of the family as they went about their daily lives in Kerry.
Some 570,000 people tuned in to see presenter Ciara Doherty chow down on the family’s preferred snack of easi-singles and mustard and watch Jackie discuss his beloved horse, Peig.
TV3 said they are “absolutely delighted” with how the programme was received by the public, and that there is “so much more” of the Healy Raes to see.
There have even been suggestions that At Home with the Healy Raes might be Ireland’s answer to Keeping Up With The Kardashians. We’ll see about that.
