People aren't quite sure what to make of the portrait Francis had painted of him on At Your Service

He loved it though, which is all that matters.

AT YOUR SERVICE is back on our screens for its tenth season.

Francis and John Brennan went to Shankill Castle – owned by a family of artists and historians struggling to make ends meet – to spruce it up a bit.

A couple of things worth noting – the castle is supposedly haunted.

The room with the rocking chair that moves by itself is the most haunted, seemingly.

In fairness, he later tried to set said-ghost up with a pensioner from the town, in a bizarre (but ambitious) First Dates crossover.

Dad Geoffrey admitted to having a “door fetish”.

And once again, the production company seemingly skimped on travel expenses and made Francis walk half a mile to get to the bloody place.

The man is a NATIONAL TREASURE and he is being made to WALK up the drive. Not good enough.

Anyway, Francis was there to help the Cope family squeeze some money out of the property, and kick plans for a café opening into high gear.

Delays ensued, Francis proceeded to pull his hair out, but as it tends to on At Your Service, everything came good for the grand opening.

Mammy Elizabeth painted a portrait of Francis to say thanks for all his help and hard work.

Francis LOVED it.

Isn’t that beautiful? I’m delighted with it.”

The reaction on Twitter, however, was decidedly more mixed.
