THE BEACH BOYS accidentally crashed a couple’s wedding – by holding a soundcheck next door as the pair exchanged vows.
Mark Kent and Jaime Diadium said their ‘I dos’ to the strains of God Only Knows, which the band were running through in the arena next to the ceremony.
The band made up for their unfortunate gaffe by inviting the bridge on stage – still in her full wedding gown – to play tambourine for their encore.
They also invited all wedding guests to the concert for free, potentially distracting them from the sausage rolls and goujons.
Diadium told the Cleveland Plain Dealer: “God Only Knows” will likely be our official song now.”
