His particular brand of high-energy candid-camera humour has become a success, and Billy On The Street now has three seasons and a cult following.

Burger King’s new commercial aired in the US last night. It features a guy with a mic asking two lads on the street about the price of chicken nuggets.

And Billy Eichner has accused Burger King of ripping off his schtick.

He got very angry, and asked people to tweet Burger King about it.

And they responded. In droves.

Even celebrities got involved.

Burger King are yet to respond to the allegations.
