MOMENTS BEFORE A cancer patient was about to undergo a life-changing double mastectomy operation, she and her surgical team held a dance party to Beyonce’s “Get Me Bodied” in the operating room of Mount Zion Hospital in San Francisco.

On her CaringBridge page, the mother-of-two said that she filmed the video to create a ‘healing video montage’.
Nothing brings me greater joy than catalysing others to dance, move, be in their bodies.
Other friends and family of Ms Cohan joined in to create videos of their own so that she could watch them during her recovery.
Here’s hoping that Deborah makes a speedy recovery.
