“What’s that?” wonders the former World Champion turned politician…

THE  TAOISEACH WAS all smiles outside Leinster House in Dublin this morning as he announced the newest member of the ‘Fine Gael team’.

Former World Champion runner Eamonn Coghlan has joined the ranks of the Fine Gael parliamentary party bringing the party’s numbers in the Seanad to 20. He had already been appointed to the upper house in May of last year as a nominee of Enda Kenny.
