CHELSEA CLINTON’S WEDDING to Marc Mezvinsky is expected to cost between $3 million and $5 million, according to Newser. Costs are estimated to run from $600,000 for air conditioned tents and $150 per invitation.

Five hundred guests are expected to attend the Clinton wedding, and the expense could run to $6,000 per head. The couple are even reported to be forking out $15,000 for glamorous port-a-loos.

Details for the wedding are being closely guarded by Clinton. In a recent interview, her mother, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, refused to give any information on the impending nuptials, other than that Bill Clinton is likely to get very emotional during the ceremony.

Two Norwegian journalists were arrested recently for trespassing while taking photos of the proposed wedding site, a lavish estate in New York state. Clinton is rumoured to be marrying Mezvinsky at the end of this month at the estate.

The guest list has yet to be formally announced, but speculation continues to grow over who will – and won’t – be invited.
