down to brass tax

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini apparently said that tax is 'f***ing her over' and nobody's happy

Myleene Klass part deux.

CHERYL FERNANDEZ-VERSINI (née Cole) has come under fire today after she was quoted as saying that paying more tax would “f*** me over”.

In an interview with the Telegraph’s Stella magazine the singer was asked about the forthcoming general election and reportedly said, “It’s hard for me, because all my friends and family vote Labour.”

I feel like a greater responsibility now to vote for who runs our country. And I pay a f**ing lot of tax.

In relation to Labour’s proposed mansion tax, she reportedly said that such a levy would “f*** her over”.

Today, however, Cheryl’s PR staunchly denied that she was referring to the mansion tax.

While Cheryl bemoaned “out of context headlines” and declared that she was a supporter of the Labour Party.

The alleged comments haven’t endeared her to many, however.

While some have used her comments as an incentive to vote Labour.

It’s just like Myleene Klass all over again.
