Christy Moore to release anti-Arthur's Day single

The man himself announced it via his brand new Twitter account.

CHRISTY MOORE HAS joined Twitter, and he used his first tweet to announce the release of his next single, Arthur’s Day.

Fans of Christy’s may recognise the song from recent live performances.  It takes a less than favourable look at Arthur’s Day Celebrations.

The lyrics can be seen in full on Christy’s website, but here are a couple of excerpts:

Diageo Diageo have mounted a Crusade,Creating Arthur’s Day they’ve suckered us into their charade…
Happy Happy Happy Happy Happy Arthur’s Day,It’s such a happy clappy advertising scheme…

The single will be officially released next Thursday, also known as Arthur’s Day.
