Police issue warrant for arrest of Cuba Gooding Jr

POLICE HAVE ISSUED a warrant for the arrest of Cuba Gooding Jr after he allegedly became involved in a barroom dispute with fans asking to take his picture.

The cops were called after the star of Jerry Maguire and A Few Good Men allegedly pushed a female bartender in a drinking establishment on Bourbon Street in the New Orleans party district around 3am yesterday morning.

After he was told that staff had called 911 the star left the bar, according to a statement from the New Orleans police department.

Other customers recognized him and started asking him to take photos with them. The bartender said Gooding soon became very aggravated with them. That’s when she says she approached him and asked him to calm down.

The actor is accused of “municipal battery”.

Gooding’s lawyer has since told New Orleans police that the actor is “taking necessary actions to address the matter”.
