DARREN MULLERY from Tralee, Co Kerry was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer when his wife Danielle was pregnant with their first child.
After little Noelle was born healthy he made this video, which was posted to YouTube on Monday.
He says that it’s for his daughter to watch when she’s older, “to see how brave her dad is and how he put up a fight to beat this disease”. The video is called Fighting Cancer Darren’s Way.
At the time of diagnosis doctors told him the cancer had progressed so far that there was little that could be done. But he has vowed to fight on, the Daily Record reports. Darren wants to make it to his daughter’s first birthday.
