This cancer-stricken dog playing in the snow is melting hearts this morning

The tears will flow.

THIS VIDEO OF a cancer-stricken St Bernard playing in the snow is almost too much to handle, be warned.

Sophia is a six-year-old St Bernard and she’s about to be put to sleep. Her owner Alyson Page wanted to give her one last chance to feel snow on her fur, and BBC North West Tonight were on hand to document it.

Brings back memories of our pups last day… We took him for ice cream right before going to the vet, pets really leave a permanent mark in our hearts.
