Here's why people are speculating that Drake might turn up at Electric Picnic

Stranger things have happened.

DRAKE’S BEEN FLAT out the last couple of weeks. For starters, his gaff is getting done up, so he’s in temporary accommodation until then.

The stress of the builders has clearly driven Drake to drink.

He’s a good pal though, our Drake is – he even went out of his way to support his mate Giggs for his slot at Reading festival.

Ahead of introducing Drake, Giggs had said:

Reading’s the only festival that used to book me. They’ve always showed mad love, so I wanna bring one of my friends out.”

That’s lovely, isn’t it? Drake said himself:

“I came all this way – seven hours – just to have this party with you.”

What a privilege.

He also uploaded this gas Instagram of him and Giggs in celebration of the ‘bag of cans’ weather in the UK at the moment. (They call it something else though, obvs).

Drake’s mystery tour didn’t end there – after his set, Giggs and the Hotline Bling singer headed to the BBK Takeover at the 02.

When in Rome, and all that jazz.

It had been widely anticipated that Drake would be appearing at the event after A$AP Rocky pulled out. But people still freaked, naturally.

Electric Picnic is coming up this weekend, with Giggs expected to perform on the Main Stage on Saturday afternoon.

And NOW people are losing the run of themselves over the thought of Drake joining him for a sing-song.

Sure Stradbally’s practically half way home for him? He may as well stop for a cuppa, stretch the legs.
