10 e.l.f. Cosmetics products to buy now that it's finally being sold in Penneys

They don’t cost an arm and a leg, either.

PRAISE JESUS HALLELUJAH – one of our fave budget beauty brands, e.l.f. Cosmetics, is now being sold in Ireland.

Before now, you had to order online, pay shipping and just generally endure hassle. Thankfully, the brand’s now being stocked in Penneys and pharmacies nationwide.

People can be skeptical when it comes to budget brands, and rightly so. When it comes to your mug, sometimes you can’t sacrifice quality.

The reason why e.l.f. is so popular though, is because some of the products are very, very good. Like, comparable to the super expensive stuff. Result!

Here’s the stuff you should cop if you see a stand in your local chemist.

1. Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder (around €7)

This is e.l.f.’s Nars ‘Laguna’ bronzer for a fraction of the price. You’d be inclined to think the pigmentation isn’t great, but you’d be wrong. Light handiwork is advised.

2. Baked Highlighter (around €7)

‘Moonlight Pearls’, pictured above, is a sister to the much loved Catrice High-Glow highlighter.

Again, don’t go lashing this on if you don’t want a big shiney moon face – a little goes a long way.

3. Eyebrow Kit (around €5)

Great for beginners and for throwing in your hand bag.

4. Powder Brush (around €7)

Don’t be fooled by the name – this product can do ANYTHING.

(Ok, you might struggle applying your eyeliner with it. But still).

This multi-tasker’s garnered a reputation for powder and foundation application. It’s grand and stiff (don’t start) which makes it perfect for stippling and blending accordingly.

5. Beautifully Precise Multi Blender Massager (around €22)

A gimmick, surely? WTF are you supposed to do with that?

Nope, this is another one that does seemingly everything – it’ll blend foundation, powder and contour thanks to its unique shape.

And sure doesn’t look a bit gorge as well?

6. Pop of Glitter Makeup Transformer Gel (around €7)

This stuff is brand new, so we might be waiting a little bit longer to get it over here.

In a similar vein to Limecrime’s Diamond Crushers, you can throw this on over your lipstick for a glitter pop. Alternatively, you can use it as eyeshadow or a highlighter, if you’re braver.

7. Cream Eyeliner (around €5)

Eyeliner trends change more than weather, especially when it comes to product. For super precise and sharp wings, liquid eyeliner is the flavour of the month.

But the staying power and opacity of this is nothing to turn your nose up at. This is also great if you’re attempting a smokier look with your eyeshadow.

8. High Definition Powder (around €11)

Finely milled, this powder comes in three shade so you can set your face to STUN. (Sorry).

9. Prism Eyeshadow Palette (around €18)

Applied wet or dry, this shadows pack a shimmery punch.

Available in Naked (pictured), Sunset, and Smoke, each richly pigmented palette has six shimmer-packed hues to play around with.

10. Mineral Infused Face Primer (around €11 for the small size)

Another delicious dupe! This time, is a dead ringer for Smashbox’s world famous Photo Finish primer.

It comes in two sizes and several colours – one clear, one for glowy skin and two for colour correction – so there’s something here to cover everyone’s face.
