Emma Stone brilliantly photobombed a fan trying to take a covert photo of her

Emma Stone = hero.

IT’S THE OLDEST trick in the book: you’re trying to take a photo of somebody and you pretend like you’re just scrolling through your phone while you surreptitiously try to get them into the frame.

Alejandra Garibay was out for dinner in New York City when she spied Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield at a table behind her. She immediately did what any normal person would do and tried to sneak a photo.

Only problem?

Emma Stone totally noticed and decided to intervene with this excellent photobomb.

As Garabay wrote in her accompanying caption:

Ok, so… either I caught a great moment between#AndrewGarfield & #EmmaStone or I clearly got caught and I am officially FIRED as a paparazzi… #oops

It’s most definitely the latter, but at least you caught Emma Stone being a hero.
