Here's how Twitter reacted to Enda Kenny's interview with Gay Byrne last night

He talked about meeting his wife and threw some evils.

ENDA KENNY APPEARED on Gay Byrne’s The Meaning of Life last night to talk about his faith, beliefs, childhood and eh… how he met his wife.

He’s really not making it up. Kenny talked fondly about his wife who he met while she was working in the Fianna Fail press office, saying:

I’ve never met anyone like her. There was an attraction there I just couldn’t resist. Being a cautious person from the west of Ireland it took a while to realise this was the person for me.

Then he said, what won her over could have been a wink he threw her in the press gallery in the Dail. Charming.

Still, this wasn’t about to work on the viewers

Why yes, yes we have. Enda’s won the staring competition, anyway

People were waiting for things to kick off

Well, at least the interview was good for something

However, all wasn’t lost

Gagging to watch it now? You can do so over on the player.
