This Irish immigration solicitor left a gas business card around pubs in Canada

Move over, Better Call Saul.

This might just be the best business card we’ve ever seen.

Reddit user Jack_Palance recently stumbled across this promotional beermat in a Canadian bar. “Feck this immigration bulls**t!” it reads.

After some digging, we discovered that the card was the brainchild of Doherty Fultz Immigration, a Toronto-based immigration consultancy firm.

Anthony Doherty, who originally hails from Co. Donegal, is one of the partners in the firm. He confirmed the authenticity of the beermat to and said they were printed for St. Patrick’s Day.

We printed them for St. Patrick’s Day for Irish bars only. I am an Irish citizen, employed as a Canadian Immigration Consultant, who provides Canadian immigration advice to Irish citizens in Canada.

“Immigrating to Canada has become increasingly more difficult and complicated over the past 2 years, which has seen many young Irish who had wished to remain in Canada, having no options but to return home,” he added.

The message was to highlight the increasing difficulties and frustration faced by young Irish citizens when applying for Canadian permanent residency. This was just a novelty promotional coaster, nothing more.
