FERGAL DEVITT IS just a lad from Bray, to some.
To others, he’s WWE star Finn Bálor.
Last night, the Wicklow wrestler competed in his first ever Wrestlemania in New Orleans, and delighted his fans in the LGBT community.
Bálor entered the Merdeces-Benz SuperDome stadium with members of the New Orleans LGBT community, who were all wearing the wrestling star’s new rainbow-inspired t-shirt.

The t-shirt incorporates the LGBT rainbow design into Finn’s logo, with 20 percent of the sales going to the GLAAD charity.
Fans loved it, with many expressing their delight that such a ‘macho’ spectacle would be so inclusive.
It’s important to note that WrestleMania is one the year’s biggest wrestling events, and is watched by millions of people worldwide. Finn’s statement was completely welcomed.
Unfortunately for Balor, Seth Rollins was declared the Grand Slam champion of WrestleMania 34. But Finn certainly won over some hearts.
