ENCOUNTERS ON FIRST Dates are usually characterised by awkward handshakes and your basic introductory questions.
But last night Jonathan tore up the rule book.
He was matched with Krystle, and things were going along swimmingly at the bar
But before dinner could even be served, he dropped a nugget of info into the conversation:
“There’s a thing I haven’t mentioned though… I have a thing for toes”
Yet another example of why First Dates is truly unmissable telly.
Krystle’s immediate reaction was just… beautiful
The conversation wasn’t done there:
“So… have you got nice feet?”
“Yeah, alright yeah. I try”
People were stunned by the revelation so early on

Third date might be more appropriate? He wasn’t messing about
Things only got better. Strap your feet in:
“So what if I was like… I want to see your feet”
“What… like right now?”
“I’m like – you can wait”
It was a bold call to get it out there before they’d even had their dinner
In fact, it was just before they tucked in

Better out there than not, in fairness.

It’s not our place to judge
Most of the reaction was based around the timing of the revelation, not the revelation itself.
Still, the date was going well for Jonathan and Krystle throughout the night – so we went into the decision room with high hopes.
And they didn’t let us down
Aww.
And we found out at the end that not only did they make it to Paris – they’re still together:
“One week later Jonathan and Krystle went on their second date to Paris. They have now been together three months.”
YES.
The lesson here? Full and frank fetish honesty is surely the best policy.
First Dates delivers once again.
