ON 7 FEBRUARY 1993 there was only one single dominating the airwaves: No Limit, by 2 Unlimited (who were a duo, surprisingly enough).

By this date it had reached No 1 in Ireland, where it stayed in the charts for 16 FLIPPING WEEKS.

Sadly, once they had climbed over the mountain of number ones, 2 Unlimited soon found themselves in the never-ending valley of not-being-famous-anymore.

That said, they reformed in 2012, though we don’t think they’ll ever reach the day-glo heights of this song.

Altogether now: No no, no no no no, no no no no, no no…
