GALLERY: Mean lamppost-related bike prank of the day

We don’t know how it was done, but either way, the owner of this bike in Dublin city centre will be walking home tonight…

WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA why the people behind this prank have done it – perhaps, indeed it’s not even a prank at all – but either way, this is something to bear in mind if you’re a cyclist and you can’t find a stand to park it in next time.

This is on Exchequer Street, just off Grafton Street in Central Dublin. And that’s a bike, dangling on a lamppost.

(We should add, for the sake of correctness, that the people in the pictures weren’t involved in the placing of the bike.)
