Gallery: Nominations for Irish Architecture Awards revealed

Check out some of the 38 projects shortlisted for the RIAI awards, ranging from imaginative home extensions to huge projects which re-shape the skyline.

POLLING HAS opened for the Public Choice Award of this year’s Irish Architecture Awards and the shortlist features some incredible designs from around the country.

The nominees include some very well-known structures, such as the Aviva Stadium and the Point Village, among a number of more private and residential properties.

Voting is open to the public and can be done via the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) website for the awards. The Public Choice Award winner will be announced on 11 July. Previous winners include Thomond Park Stadium and the Criminal Courts of Justice.
