BACK WHEN CHERYL’S bum tattoo was but a glint in her eye, and before Nadine developed that American-Northern Irish hybrid accent, Girls Aloud brought out their rather rocking debut single.

Keen to differentiate themselves from other manufactured pop bands (they were formed on Popstars: The Rivals), they went for a harder, more gritty sound than their peers.
