Gotye combines all versions of Somebody That I Used To Know; internet implodes

See you on the other side.

ALONG WITH CALL Me Maybe, Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know is vying for the coveted YouTube’s Most Parodied title this year.

It’s had six-year-olds, the obligatory Star Wars version, and this guy who’s very worried about Miley Cyrus.

Gotye’s reaction? Simply take lots of the YouTube cover versions and mix them all together into one massive meta-cover-version. We are through the looking glass here, people.

So anyway, this may mean the end of the world and all reality as we know it. See you on the other side of this thing.

I’ve got a feeling we’ll find Gotye standing in the centre of the universe on a giant black and white chessboard holding a human skull and a single red rose, but maybe that’s just me.
