LAST NIGHT’S LATE Late Show came to us live from London. The line-up included some of the city’s most well known Irish entertainers, including Imelda May, Laura Whitmore, Angela Scanlon and of course, Graham Norton.
You don’t take a chatshow to London, on Graham’s turf, and not let him appear on it.
Graham spoke about Brexit, and perfectly summed up the British thinking on it.
Some sort of Brexit is going to happen, even though everybody knows it’s a bad idea. I do think there’s something very British about it. Well, I said I was hungry enough to eat my foot. So I’m going to eat my foot!
He has a point.
But it was his subtle, but stinging burn, that really got viewers riled up.
When Ryan asked if they could talk about Graham’s mother, he took the opportunity to make a point we’ll all know too well.
I want to talk about your mother briefly.
She is watching!
