BLACK FRIDAY IS usually considered a weirdly manic post-Thanksgiving shopping day in America, but over the last couple of years Irish retailers have taken to it with gusto.
But now pubs are seeing the light too.
And Dunnes Bar in Carrick-on-Shannon have come up with a very appropriate deal on the black stuff for Black Friday
Yes, next Friday they’ll be selling pints of Guinness for €1 all day until 7pm.
Mixing Black Friday with the black stuff might just be the most ingenious marketing move of 2016 – and it was staring us in the face this whole time. Let’s just all take advantage of it IN MODERATION, people.
