Hozier had a wholesome reunion with the guy who gave him his dungarees during a show

What a guy.

HOZIER RELEASED SOME new music this week – his first in four years. How exciting for everyone involved.

The Wicklow native said it was “a joy” to share the four track EP, entitled Nina Cried Power, with fans after his break.

Fans were similarly enthused, judging from their tweets.

Anyway, Andrew’s been flat out on the promo trail – naturally – and decided to pay his old pal Ian Dempsey a visit in Today FM.

Ian decided to orchestrate a lovely little on air reunion with the singer and one of his (very sound) fans.

Not just any fan, though. This fan previously gave Hozier the clothes off his back at one of his previous Irish gigs – specifically, his dungarees.

Regaling the tale on air, Liam said:

I was at a Sofar Sounds gig, amazing gig. It was a really cool event. Just before the gig, I bumped into Hozier in the jacks. We’re both quite tall so I think there was a mutual understanding there. I think he complimented my dungarees.”

Later on, I had a sign that said ‘Hozier Is My Brozier’ … He’d obviously spotted me in the crowd, at which point he goes on to say, “Oh it’s very hard for a tall person to get a good pair of dungarees”, at which point I decided to donate him my dungarees.
I just took them off and passed them up the stage.”

Hozier said he had “huge admiration” for the act, which saw Liam take his clothes off in the middle of the gig.

He even attempted to give them back post-gig, when it began to lash rain. Valiant as ever, Liam was having none of it.

“You’re an absolute legend,” he said, adding that the dungarees “fit well”.

Here’s a photo of the pair together, united by said-pair of dungarees.
