In pictures: Seasides, stations and surgery – the year’s best photos from Boards.ie

Photographers have given their work for a new book, with all presents going to a Christmas children’s charity.

THIS WEEKEND SEES the launch of the annual Boards.ie Photo Book – collecting the best of the year’s work from our sister site’s Photography Forum.

Both amateur and professional photographers feature in the charity project – which features just one image from each person – and there are more than a few surprises among the images.

All proceeds from the publication go directly to Santa Strike Force, which gives Christmas presents to children in hospitals and care centres. The book will be available to buy from Monday.
