'Bump the app before you bump in the sack'. Yep. YouTube
bumpin'

New app stops you having sex with your cousin

It sounds an incest alarm to prevent an “awkward reunion”.

NOT HAVING SEX with your cousin? There is now an app for that.

You’d think it might be easy enough to avoid dropping the hand on a near blood relation. But in Iceland, a nation of 300,000 people with a lot of common ancestry and surrounded by sea, apparently it’s not quite that simple.

Luckily, a new app is here to help Iceland out.

The ÍslendingaApp SES tracks your ancestry via a public genealogy database, and compares it to another person’s when you ‘bump’ your Android phones.

If you’re on the point of taking the wrong person home, the app sounds an “Incest Alarm”. Just like the description on Google Play says:

Bump someone in the app before you bump them in the sack!

As a handy extra, it will also remind you of your grandma’s birthday. (Honestly.)

Here’s the Incest Alarm in action:
