An Irish couple's trip to Liverpool for an abortion has gone viral on Twitter

And they’re winning so much support.

STARTING AT 5.42 this morning, an Irish couple began live-tweeting their journey to England for an abortion.

Under the Twitter handle @itstimetorepeal, they have been documenting their trip to Liverpool – taking place due to a fatal foetal abnormality.

Throughout the day, they’ve been keeping the account updated

“imagine making this journey on your own like the thousands of women that made it before us”

Their story has started trending across the country

And beyond.
