SAD NEWS IS circulating today that Meghan Markle’s pet beagle Guy – who recently moved with her to the UK – has been involved in an accident that broke two of his legs.

Reported today in the Mail on Sunday, and picked up on by The Telegraph, Markle is said to be “distraught”. And she’s called in celebrity vet Noel Fitzpatrick from Channel 4′s The Supervet to treat him:

Guy was flown to London earlier this year from Toronto where he lived with Meghan while she worked on television series Suits.
While it is not clear how the injuries occurred, The Mail on Sunday understands that the dog is receiving treatment from television ‘super vet’, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, who is renowned for his bionic surgery techniques.

Markle has another dog called Bogart but he didn’t move from Toronto with her, leaving Guy as Meghan’s only dog in the UK.

Prince Harry is said to have joined his “anguished fiancee” on visits this past week.

It’s being reported that Guy is being treated at a facility in Surrey – which is exactly where The Supervet has his surgery

There has been no update on Guy’s condition at this time.

Meghan’s love for her two dogs has been evident on her Instagram account – which has seen significantly less activity since her relationship began with Prince Harry

Guy and Bogart are clearly treasured companions of her, so it must be a particularly difficult time

Get well soon, Guy. You’re in good hands.
