THE YOUTUBER SAYS he has started to feel unsafe in his own home.
Beauty influencer James Charles has hit out at some fans who are reportedly not respecting his privacy.
The MUA took to Twitter to warn fans about turning up at his home after he suggested someone was there looking to meet the star.
“I will not hug you, I will not take a photo with you, and I absolutely will not sign your palette,” he said in a series of angry tweets.
please stop showing up at my house. i will not hug you, i will not take a photo with you, and i absolutely will not sign your palette. it is extremely disrespectful & makes me feel very unsafe in my own home. respect people’s privacy, it’s really not that hard.

James said that not only was it disrespectful, it was also making him feel unsafe in his own home.
The 19-year-old has amassed over 25 million subscribers across his social platforms over the years but is now asking fans to be respectful of his personal boundaries.
“Respect people’s privacy, it’s really not that hard.”
The social media star’s posts have naturally reignited the debate around the lines are when it comes to access to those in the public eye.
While many fans jumped to James’ defense, hitting out at those that took it “too far” by invading his personal space, others commented that this is simply part of the deal when you become a celebrity.
Amen. It’s crazy how hard it is for people to understand something so simple.

People who are saying “you chose this life” are part of the problem. Taking pictures & signing palettes is obvs fine any other time. He’s meant to feel safe in the comfort of his own home, not feel like his life is possibly at risk.

Your a celebrity now, it comes with the job. You might not like it but you made your bed so you lie in it.

When your a celebrity all privacy goes out the window. Not saying that it’s okay for ppl to go to his home uninvited but that comes with the territory. Fame = no privacy been that way since the dawn of time lol

Yes, the response was fairly mixed so we guess there are still a lot of strong feelings on the issue.
