A FEW WEEKS ago, the world was treated to paparazzi photos of one Jeremy Meeks cupping the face of and passionately kissing one Chloe Green on a luxury yacht.
And thus began the most compelling tabloid romance of 2017.
Let’s back up for a moment.
You likely remember Jeremy Meeks as the so-called “hot felon” who charmed the world with his brooding mugshot a few years ago.
Meeks was arrested in June 2014 on five weapons charges and one gang charge. Stockton Police Department shared a photo of his mugshot on Facebook and it quickly garnered thousands of likes, turning Meeks into an overnight sensation.
Despite his good looks, he was jailed for 27 months after being convicted of illegally possessing a firearm and ordered to undergo 500 hours of a substance abuse programme.
After serving one year of his sentence, he was released from prison in March of last year. Since then, he has embarked on a semi-successful modeling career of sorts and amassed more than 1.3 million followers on Instagram.
The sky’s the limit for Jeremy!
Enter Chloe Green.
Chloe Green is the 26-year-old billionaire heiress daughter of Sir Philip Green, the beleaguered businessman behind high street outlets like Topshop, Topman, Wallis, Evans and Evans. (Green came under fire last year for his role in the collapse of BHS and some have called for his knighthood to be revoked.)
Perhaps you remember her from her brief foray into the world of Made in Chelsea when she joined the show as Ollie Locke’s girlfriend. She was previously romantically linked to Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Marc Anthony and Cristiano Ronaldo.
More recently, she’s been gallivanting around the world on what the Daily Mail describes as a “year-long holiday”.
To recap: the daughter of an extremely wealthy businessman is dating a man who is famous for being a handsome criminal.
Add to that the fact that Jeremy Meeks has left his wife and children to gallivant with her and you’ve got a juicy celebrity story on your hands. (He filed for separation last week.)
So far, Jeremy Meeks and Chloe Green have been having a ball.
*deep breaths*
- They went on a dinner date in Los Angeles.
- They stopped into a “ritzy jewelry establishment” in Beverly Hills.
- They kissed and cuddled at a “champagne-fuelled party” in Dortmund.
- They kissed in a swimming pool.
- They snuggled up on a yacht in Bodrum, Turkey.
Standard couple stuff, really.
Chloe Green is said to be smitten with the model criminal.

Chloe seems quite taken with Jeremy, and who can blame her? He’s seen as one of the sexiest guys on the celebrity social circuit and has a story or two to tell about his colourful past.
Indeed, Green posted a photo of herself and Meeks with the caption, “Just the Beginning… We appreciate all the love and the hate,” before hastily deleting her Instagram account. (She has since reactivated it, but set it to private.)
