Justin Bieber apologised for his 'arrogant' behaviour in a grainy video... it's The Dredge

All the best of the day’s celebrity dirt.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Justin Bieber has released a video in which he apologises for his “arrogant” and “conceited” behaviour over the past few years. The brief clip features Bieber in a darkened room and discussing growing up in the public eye.

The singer discussed “pretending” to be someone he wasn’t and set the record straight on who the real Justin Bieber is.

I felt people were judging me and I really want people to know how much I care, how much I care about people, and how I’m not that person to say ‘I don’t give a f***,’ you know? I’m not that kid.

Bieber also said that he wants fans to view him as a “softy” again.

I just want to make the best impression on people and be kind and loving and gentle and soft and although people can call me a ‘softy,’ that’s how my mom raised me.

Mammy’s boy.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s mam is as befuddled by the term “conscious uncoupling” as you are. Blythe Danner was at the Sundance Film Festival when she was asked for her thoughts on the phrase coined by Gwyneth last year.

Basically she’s so not into it that she couldn’t even remember what the term was.

People make fun of this, um, what do they call it? What is that thing that they’ve been doing? Separating, but being?

“Separating, but being” is as wishy-washy as “conscious uncoupling”, but it doesn’t quite pack the same punch.

Danner was later full of praise for Paltrow and her ex Chris Martin.

They are so smart…both incredibly brilliant. They’re making it work, they’re great friends and the kids are in wonderful shape. So I have to take my hat off to both of them.

Taylor Swift successfully proved that Harry Styles had the wrong lyrics of a song tattooed on his arm. Styles has lyrics from The Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition inked on his arm. Unfortunately, they are the wrong lyrics.

How do we know? Because Taylor asked The Temper Trap.

The singer was attending the ARIAs back in 2012 when she politely knocked on the band’s dressing room door.

She was like ‘Hey’, you know, ‘I’m a big fan’ blah, blah, blah. And she goes, ‘Ahh it’s my boyfriend’s birthday soon I wanna give him a present – here’s a piece of paper, can you please write down the lyrics to Sweet Disposition, sign it, I wanna give it to him’.

WAY TO PROVE A POINT, TAYLOR.

So, did he write down the correct lyrics?

I kept it real, I wrote the right lyrics, man.

No surprise that Swift and Styles broke up shortly afterwards. (Daily Mail)
