WELL, HERE IT is – the question that’s been on everyone’s mind has finally been answers. What does Jon Bon Jovi really think of reality star Kim Kardashian?

On the subject of reality telly, Jon told Australia’s The Sunday Project:
“I think it’s horrific that we live in that world, and I can tell you I’ve never given 60 seconds of my life, ever, to one of those ‘Housewives of Blah Blah’ and ‘Kardashians’ this.
I don’t know their names. I’ve never watched 60 seconds of the show. It’s not for me.”
Hmm. While he might admit to being “the last guy on social media”, it’s hard to believe that he can’t name even one member of the most followed family on Instagram especially considering he dislikes them so much? (Just to reiterate, he’s never watched 60 seconds of the show. Sixty. Seconds.)
He then immediately goes on to prove that he is, for want of a better expression, full of shite, by referring to Kim Kardashian specifically.
What’s gonna be in your autobiography? ‘I made a porno, and guess what, I got famous’. F—k! Sorry, I’ll pass.”
He suggests that fame seekers should find another route to the top by “writing a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, playwright.”
“Having a kid tell me ‘I want to be famous,’ and I say, ‘Why?’ Fame is a byproduct of writing a good song.”
You don’t have to like the Kardashians – there’s certainly a lot about them to dislike. Disliking a woman because she “got famous” in a way that you don’t particularly like? Now that’s what I call misogyny!
But that’s a tired, well worn argument – as is the one against people who comment “who?” under articles that they willingly clicked in to and took time out of their own day to comment on.
Like what you like. Similarly, reject what you don’t. You’re under no obligation to be anyone’s fan or “hater”. However, there’s a definite sense of entitlement that comes with shitting on pop culture just because it seems like the smarter thing to do. Whatever side of the fence you’re on when it comes to matters of pop culture, you don’t automatically gain the moral or intellectual high ground either way, no matter how loudly you choose to express your opinion.
