Loungewear options that just about count as clothes to wear over Christmas

Get cosy!

NOT LONG LEFT to go until we clock off from work and head home for the holidays.

What awaits us is a week of eating more food than previously thought possible, binge- watching all the Harry Potter movies and making any excuse to avoid putting on actual clothes.

Yes, I admit, I am that person who spends the majority of the holidays in my pyjamas which is fine if it weren’t for the constant visitors who have been forced to see me trotting around in four-year-old, ripped Penneys leggings and my Leaving Cert class t-shirt.

It’s pretty tragic, to be honest.

So, in a bid to avoid embarrassing myself (and by instruction, my parents) this Christmas, I’m investing in some snazz new loungewear that can just about pass as being clothes.

Look, a tiger can’t change its stripes but I will make a conscious effort to change out of my pyjamas over the break.

And when loungewear looks this cosy it makes it a whole lot easier.

From M&S to Urban Outfitters, there are plenty of pieces out there for those who love their pyjamas as much as I do.
