Lots of people's power went out just as Love/Hate started... and they weren't happy

Any other time. But NOW?

TONIGHT BROUGHT US the season premiere of Love/Hate’s fifth series. It also brought us a Met Éireann weather warning for high winds and rain.

This could only mean one thing: tragedy ahead.

And sure enough, the power went out in areas of Dublin and Limerick. Just as Love/Hate was starting.

There was general uproar.

Some people were philosophical.

Others simply assumed that the universe was having a laugh at their expense.

But perhaps this person best summed up the feelings of those affected, as they watched the rest of the country trade jokes about naggins and head lice on Twitter.
