The TV chef was chosen by organisers of the annual Great Sheep Drive to kick off the event, which celebrates the Freemen of the City’s right to drive the animals over the bridge.

The ancient tradition sees hundreds of people taking turns herding two groups of 10 sheep back and forth over the River Thames.

She’s visualising Paul Hollywood’s face on the sheep, by the looks of it.

Berry, who was made a Freeman of the City in 2014, said the event went “like clockwork”.

As for her wooly mates, Berry said: “They were extremely well-behaved. I think they’ve done it before.”

A lot of people are here who will never have seen sheep other than a roast lamb on a Sunday.”

#TheMoreYouKnow.

This guy’s mate Greg didn’t have a breeze what was going on.

James was also suitably bemused.

Who needs Bake-Off when you have barnyard animals, eh?
