WAY BACK IN 2010, Ohio woman Melodi Dushane went ballistic at a McDonald’s drive-thru because she couldn’t get Chicken McNuggets.
She punched an employee in the mouth, smashed the window – and was captured on CCTV in this footage.
There was no audio on the original tape… but somebody has added inspired dialogue AND subtitles for this rework.
Several news outlets are reporting the new video as real.
However, full details of the original case are available on the Smoking Gun (Dushane was sentenced to 60 days in jail and three years’ probation for her McNugget-based outburst). There’s no sound on the raw CCTV footage, and the rework even links to the audio-free version (calling it the “original”).
Plus, original police documents show the time of the incident was 6.20am. A server in the reworked video “says” the time is 10.30am. (The numerous typos in the subtitles might also be a clue.)
