OVER THE PAST few months, Meanwhile in Clongowes… has taken over social media in Ireland.
In fact, it’s damn near impossible to scroll through Twitter or Facebook without stumbling upon a reference to soft drinks or nipping out in the Punto.
Earlier today, Tony Cantwell, the brains behind the viral sketch, announced that he was partnering with illustrator Fatti Burke to release a limited edition t-shirt complete with the names of the lads included in the sketch.
YES, EVEN PLOON.
As Tony explained on Facebook:
We’re not making a penny and 100% of the profits are going to Syrias Vibes a charity doing some amazing stuff to raise funds for medical and emergency response services in Syria. They’re €20 (plus PP).
Syria’s Vibes is an Irish-based charity that supports clinics and emergency response services in Syria and Iraq.
Cantwell explained that he’s only making a limited edition of 50 t-shirts for now, but judging by the level of interest, we expect he’ll have to make more soon.
