The late pop star’s three children pressed his glove and shoes into the cement at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

MICHAEL JACKSON’S iconic sequined silver glove has been pressed into wet cement in Hollywood to commemorate the late pop star.

Jackson’s three children participated in the commemoration ceremony yesterday by pressing the glove and a pair of their late father’s shoes into the cement.

The imprints will be placed alongside the handprints, footprints and signatures of Hollywood celebrities including John Wayne, Humphrey Bogard, Bette Davis, Sophia Loren and Clint Eastwood.

The star’s son Prince Michael Jackson said that the imprinting ceremony was Michael Jackson’s “lifetime achievement award”.

Musician Smokey Robinson and producer Quincy Jones also spoke at the event.

Other members of Jackson’s members also attended the event, as did teen pop sensation Justin Bieber. Introducing Bieber on stage at the event, Jackson’s daughter Paris said he found stardom at a very young age, “like my Dad”. Bieber called on the audience to give Michael Jackson a round of applause:
