YOU MIGHT HAVE seen a photo of Michelle Obama floating around the internet today.
In it, the former First Lady is rocking a pair of thigh high, glittery boots under a full-length yellow gown as she discussed her memoir, ‘Becoming’, with Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker on the last date on the first leg of the author’s tour.
There they are now, in all their glory.
As to why she wore them, Michelle told SJP that following her role as first lady from 2009 to 2017 she is now “free to do whatever”.
“There is no message,” she added. “The boots are telling you no message. They were just really cute.
I was like, ‘Those some nice boots!’”
Hours later, the boots were trending on Twitter with social media users praising the former first lady on her choice of footwear.
