This tiny Indian joint in Dublin 7 is the best-reviewed takeaway on Just Eat

Namaste India doesn’t look like much… but apparently it delivers. Literally.

A LONG-STANDING INDIAN restaurant in a tiny Dublin 7 shopfront has been named the best-reviewed takeaway in Ireland by the country’s largest online takeout marketplace.

Namaste India, which has been a Smithfield and Stoneybatter institution since 1999, took home Best Reviewed Takeaway tonight at the first Just Eat National Takeaway Awards.

According to Just Eat the award is given based on the best average rating from user reviews on the site, which lists roughly 1,700 takeaways nationwide.

Here’s a meal, snapped by Instagram user kelleysdailydoseofinspiration:

Namaste has no seating inside, and operates out of an unprepossessing unit just north of Smithfield Square.

But the food seems to have struck a chord with reviewers.

Some sample positive reviews:

Really delicious, top quality Indian cuisine, a beautiful blend of spices, massive portion sizes to fill up even the most ambitious eater (soyay – Indian for breakfast!) Couldn’t complain about any aspect of this. Long live Namaste!I would eat this everyday. Very genuine Indian. Thank you for great service and food.

I’m addicted to this place, best take away around, really tasty. Namaste u should open a restaurant :)
